RENAUD MUSCLIER PDT OF REGIONS DE FRANCE ASSURED THAT THE NATIONAL SOLIDARITY FUND WILL BE QUICKLY IMPLEMENTED WITH THE STATE------------------------------------------------------------------------------The President of Regions of France assured that the Regions will be there to quickly implement with the State the National Solidarity Fund in favor of VSEs and the self-employed, to which they have committed to contribute up to 250 million euros.  A first emergency aid of up to 1,500 euros will be paid to these companies, and the regions' services are ready to examine the second wave of applications which will allow companies in greatest difficulty to benefit from additional assistance of 2,000 euros. A decree currently being finalized will specify the conditions for granting this aid. The Regions ask the State to put in place all the necessary means in its services for the payment in the shortest possible time of this vital aid for our entrepreneurs affected by the health crisis, as well as to ensure the continuity of payments of our local authorities to their service providers. As a reminder, the Solidarity Fund is intended for companies not covered by other aid schemes, whose annual turnover is less than 1 million euros and which lost 70% of their activity in March 2020 compared to to March 2019.  This fund complements the systems put in place by the Regions with regard to financial guarantees and the extension of payments on repayable advances. In total, this is almost one billion euros already mobilized directly by the Regions for the benefit of economic players in all territories. SIX REGIONS HAVE ORDERED M 38,7 FACE MASKS-------------------------------------------------------------------------------  Six Regions have ordered 38.7 million masks, In addition, Renaud Muselier expressed the general desire of the Regions to acquire masks to accelerate the distribution to healthcare workers and beyond, to all those who continue to work to provide essential services to our economy. Six regions have used since this weekend the possibility open to local authorities to place this type of order thanks to Decree No. 2020-281, published on Saturday March 21. Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, Grand Est, Hauts-de-France, ÃŽle-de-France, Pays de la Loire and Sud-Provence-Alpes-Côte d´Azur have already ordered a total of 38.7 million masks. During their meeting today, the Regional Presidents agreed to share their information on suppliers of masks, respirators and consumables, and on past markets. They act in close collaboration with the regional health agencies and local players for these orders, so as to avoid duplication and guarantee that the equipment arrives as quickly as possible to all those who need it. The Presidents are already calling on all manufacturers likely to supply components for these respirators, or who are able to produce masks or consumables (gloves, glasses, etc.) to make themselves known to the services of their region.
